Dubbed the ultimate infinity pool and picnic spot in the world, , The Devil’s Pool is a natural rock pool on the edge of the Victoria Falls adjacent to Livingstone Island on the Zambian side of the Zambezi river.
During the dry season, Devil’s Pool is shallow enough that people can safely swim right to the edge before the waterfall drops more than 300 feet (100m). Five trips a day to Livingstone Island are offered and transfers are done from the landing at the Livingstone Island check in point in a twin-engine boat that carries up to 12 people, taking you through the fast-moving channels of the Zambezi, a thrilling journey. Exclusivity is what makes the island special as only a few people are allowed on the island per trip.
Upon getting on the island, you will be given a guided tour, learning about its history from ancient times, when it served as a sacrificial site, to the present day and its World Heritage status. The swim in the pool is as close as you can get to the thunderous roar and permanent rainbows of this magnificent Natural World Wonder.
Breakfast , Lunch and High Tea Trip options available.
